Terms of Service — Right Weather LLC

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the client weather portal at rightwx.com (the “Service”), operated by Right Weather LLC (“Right Weather,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Right Weather provides private weather forecasting information — including outlooks, storm warnings, alerts, and related data — to subscribing organizations (“Clients”) and their authorized users. Access to specific forecast areas is determined by each Client’s subscription as configured by Right Weather.
2. Accounts and authorized users
- Each Client’s administrator authorizes individual users and is responsible for managing that access.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. SMS / text message terms
By confirming your mobile number, you consent to receive recurring weather forecast and alert text messages from Right Weather. Message frequency varies with weather conditions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
4. Weather information disclaimer
Forecasts are predictions, not guarantees. Weather forecasting is inherently uncertain, and actual conditions may differ from any forecast, alert, or other information provided through the Service. The Service is intended to support — not replace — your own judgment and planning.
The Service is not an emergency or life-safety system. It is not a substitute for official warnings, watches, and advisories issued by the National Weather Service or other government authorities. In any emergency, or for official life-safety guidance, rely on those official sources and emergency services.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by sharing access credentials with unauthorized people, attempting to access areas or data you are not authorized for, interfering with the Service’s operation, or redistributing forecast products in violation of your Client’s subscription.
6. Intellectual property
All forecast products, text, graphics, and other content provided through the Service are owned by Right Weather LLC and are provided for the internal use of the subscribing Client and its authorized users. You may share downloadable products (such as PDFs) within your organization but may not resell or publicly redistribute them without our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Right Weather LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on forecast information provided through the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount paid for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Right Weather LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
