Right Weather LLC (“Right Weather,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the client weather portal at rightwx.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide the Service:
- Account information you or your organization’s administrator provide: name, email address, mobile phone number, and the organization (client) you are associated with.
- Usage information such as which forecast areas you access, log-in activity, and basic technical data (browser type, device, IP address) used to keep the Service secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information.
SMS / text message program
We send weather forecast and alert text messages to users whose organizations have subscribed to the Service.
- Consent (opt-in). Your mobile number is added to your user account when your organization’s administrator registers you. Before any forecast messages are sent, you must confirm your number by replying to a one-time confirmation text. Only confirmed numbers receive messages.
- Message frequency varies based on weather conditions and your organization’s subscription. Message frequency is recurring and not fixed.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You may also ask your administrator to remove your number.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at fred@rightweather.com / 401-556-4556.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services to Right Weather (such as our SMS delivery provider) is permitted solely to operate the messaging program.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to: provide forecasts and alerts to the areas your organization is authorized for; send the SMS messages you have consented to; authenticate users and secure the Service; respond to support requests; and meet legal obligations.
How we share information
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, our web host and our SMS delivery provider), under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing those services.
- Your organization’s administrator, who manages user access for your organization.
- Legal authorities when required by law.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your user account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, security, and record-keeping purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business and institutional use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at fred@rightweather.com. You can stop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
